LATEST SCULPTED DRAGON PICS by DEANJENO--art LATEST SCULPTED DRAGON PICS by DEANJENO--art
Hey, these r my latest pictures of my sculpted dragon:D!!!
I'm not finished with it yet;) but tell me what u think of it so far:woohoo:

It's made out of plasticine, which is a substitute for clay. All the dragon pics in my gallery belong to the same dragon.
The dragon u see was originally one solid colour more or less [u can see pics of it in my gallery in dragon folder].
i bought more plasticine (which can come in several different colours) and redecorated, designed and detailed the entire thing:D. that took long hours and spanned a number of days since i did the colouring on the first week of my new school term.:)

i DID NOT PAINT the dragon. I've NEVER painted any of my sculptors.

i'm not saying i hate seeing sculptors painted......just that i've never tried it [might in the future, not certain], and i don't want people automatically assuming that just because it's a sculptor and has a bunch of colors that it has to be paint!!!:|

it's not PAINT!!!!!
:|

anyway......i REALLY hope u like it:woohoo::bounce::D!

Enjoy, and feel free to tell me what u guys think.:)
please and thank u!:D

p.s. if u want it downloaded just tell me;)
I don't want anyone stealing my work so i wanna know who u r before i let u download it......they don't tell u who downloads the stuff so i'm gonna find out first:D

So I see that you placed this in the critique folder so here we go:

Your design is well thought out and created, but I feel that it would seem more finished and complete if you choose a set of maybe 4 colors and stick to it. That way you can make a gradient of lights and darks and it would flow better together. That way it would allow the eye to move smoothly over the piece, instead of bounce around. It's hard to concentrate on one place.

I hope that helps you in some form or another! Other then that, this is quite nice. :)

My goodness! The detail is fantastic, and the fact that it isn't painted makes it more impressive. Lovely work.

thanks so much!!!:woohoo:
great to know that someone out there knows that it isn't paint but rather lots of time consuming work getting all those colours to work....:)

I'm really glad you love the details. They took up the majority of time spent on this sculpture and i'm glad someone appreciates it:)

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment:)
It's really appreciated:D
